What Did That Scientist Do?

Introduction:
Science and the technology that it has created have affected all of our lives. Behind the advancements in science are many different kinds of people of different race, age, sex, and nationality who have contributed to science throughout the ages.

The Task:
To honor scientists, the school newsletter, C.H.I.S. Times, is publishing a special edition showcasing the contributions of scientists throughout the ages for National Scientist Day. As a reporter for the paper you have been assigned the task of producing an article on a scientist for this special edition.
In your article you will need to include the following information:
1. What is the name of the scientist?
2. What is the scientist's nationality, sex, and when did he/she live?
3. What is his/her scientific discovery and what is the significance of that discovery?
4. How does his/her discovery affect our lives today?
5. Include a drawing of the scientist that you have made in either Microsoft Paint or Word.

The Process:
You will work alone on this project.
Keep in mind that you will need to pick a scientist that you are interested in to write the article on.
This needs to be a one paragraph typed paper in size 12 font.
